Help with replacing my beer lines?

Hi guys, so I'm almost finished with my keezer build but want to replace the grotty cut off bits of 4mm ID beer line currently attached to the font with my nice new 5mm ID line and correctly balance it.

I have read through all the threads on this topic I could find but cannot for the life of me work out how you guys removed the line from this little brass bastard at the back of the tap adaptor shank thing.

I think they are called 'Push Fittings'. i have a couple on my welder

Having seen line replacement done, I recall that it best to chase the outgoing line with a new piece of incoming line (attached end-to end), then you feed in from the top.

Is it the brass bit you can't remove?

I think it may be an olive fitting if you can get the brass sleeve unscrewed.
Is it Andale?
Mine was, and used had an olive in the hose, under the brass threaded bit (but mine had a hexagonal head).
Is there a collet?

I have some other push fittings that are pretty easily undone. This doesn't seem to respond to the push-pull thing.

what's an olive and collet?
I think the font is Andale, it fits andale snaplok taps.

Pretty sure it's a push-pull type fitting. There's a chance that because it hasn't been undone in a while it's seized. If you have a vice this is what I'd do -

1. Turn fitting upside down so tube is pointed to the floor
2. Place tube between vice jaws
3. Close vice until jaws are just touching tube
4. Pull tube through until collet is resting on vice jaws
5. Push down heavily on fitting

Hopefully this will push the brass collet in allowing you to remove the tube.
If this doesn't work, Les is right. I'm not going to provide advice on how to unscrew the brass part though.

Almost looks like you can see a thread on the brass collet bit... if so its threaded
