 Put a 'Black Rock Miner's Stout' kit with a 'Beer Muscle Irish Stout' "sugars" pack in my fermenter yesterday. Today - no bubbles, zip, nada. Should I be worried after 30hrs ??

First rule never trust your airlock just because it aint bubbling doent mean it is not fermenting maybe your lid is not sealing properly and the co2 is escaping there so take a gravity reading and if it is lower than the last gravity reading then your ok if it the same then pitch some more yeast as you may get an infected wort

Is there a krausen (foam ontop of the beer) ?

Hi All,

Added another sachet of yeast (from another kit), and we have some bubbles.

There is a 'foam' on top of the wort, is this a bad thing ????

The foam on top is called the krausen.
It is a good thing. If there is only a little on top then you can expect it to get bigger.
You have active fermentation.

Beers,
Doc
