Hello, just a quick question if i may. I am having problems with on of my taps on my fridge. When i pour a beer, it starts out ok, then i get a quick squirt of froth, then it goes back to normal (beer). The result is a beer full of head. It doesn't happen with every keg, just sometimes. Has/Does this happen to anyone else ? Is there anything i can do to stop it ? Thanks fellas, i hope someone out there can help me. I do apologise if it has been brought up in earlier threads.
Cheers

When you have a look at your beer lines is there any air (co2) in them, if so your problem may be overcarbonation.

as bumma said possable over carb,is your beer line higher than your tap?if so co2 can accumulate in the line at its highest point,so you get beer then co2 rush, try keeping your line lower so any co2 will sit in the tap,I take it you have more than one tap,you could try swaping over to another tap and see if prob persists, you may have a sealing prob on that tap or keg pickup tube seal may need replacing if it only happens on a certain keg

Thanks fellas, ZAPOND. I changed taps and put the tap which was on the keg "froffing" on to the other keg....this keg then poured fine, Therefore i don't think it is a tap problem.
It seems to be only happening on the one keg. AND yes my lines are higher than my taps (my fridge set up is the freezer on the bottom). The keg which is froffing does seem to have air (CO2) for about the first 2 inches from the beer outlet. The other keg is fine.
So now am i looking for a dodgy seal on my pick up tube, and or my keg might be over gassed.
Thanks for your help boys Zapond/Bumma. It's giving me the Sh*ts wasting beer when if Froffs up.

Hey Zabond, i took the post off the beer 'out' and checked the washer iside there, it seemed a bit worn, i put some lube on it and put it all back together, it then seemed to be pouring fine. Thanks for your help. The washer in there is a 'flat' one, not an 'o' ring. Do you know where you can buy replacements of these flat washers, i think it might be a good idea to get a few.
