I was hoping to show off my new kegs this crissy. But my bloody useless sister still has my beer frige, wench.

Sooo, help me out, I need to get a couple of kegs cold on christmass day.

Possible? they aint even carbonated yet :(

2. Put ice in HLT.
3. Insert keg.
4. ??

Ice, Ice and lots of ice. When it's cool gas it up.

if for 2. you don't have HLT....a corny fits into a fermenter....again, fill with ice. Better yet, fill with ice, some water, and a packet of salt. ;)

Ahh, ever our resident crazy scientist (not so crazy) - salt and ice mixture reaches sub zero which is how we used to make home-made icecream when I was a lad (salt in the freezing 'bath' not in the ice cream of course)
See if there is anywhere local you can get dry ice (frozen carbon dioxide) as well.

egg zachary. No wasted thermal energy on the ice surface due to re freezing. ;) Some people still make ice cream the old fashioned way.....no poncy electric ice cream makers in this house. :lol:
 
If I knew where Mathoura is - might be able to help better.
