My ales are certainly improving, so i reckon if i am still brewing at 75 will hopefully have it nailed down by then... here's hoping it is sooner.

I think my bitterness tastes are about 60-65% approximated by use of the same logic you mention, though my latest batch is about 70% and my best yet.
I reckon 80% might feel like IPA levels to me :)

I just finished a London pride, a SS Old Brewery Pale ale, SS Nut brown, and Taddy Porter. Bloody nice beers, and ( as i've heard many times before ) if they're much better on the engine, I need to get over there. I get them every now and then, and as great as they are I can't help wanting to go and try them over at the source on cask. The GBBF is on my bucket list for sure.
