There is a very large road around berwick called Ernst wanke road. Looks like some early settler tosser !

Ernst Wanke Road is a signed road that crosses the 'new' Monash freeway extension, there was lots of comments about it on the radio when the radio-traffic-reports were extended to cover the new bit of the freeway. Seems the road also has its own Facebook page, go figure.

^Yep my olds live pretty much opposite where it ends in berwick.
I remember when it first opened when I was a young fella (I grew up in upper beac) and there were some very odd ways of saying that roads name.
