Hi Everyone,

I just had to bolt down to my LHBS to buy some Goldings hops. After going right through his stock all I could find was Gold Cluster (7.2%) I asked him if this was the same as Goldings and he said yes  (I've been given the wrong advice from him before, so I need to double check before I screw up my recipe).

Can some tell if what he sold me is the same as Goldings? I can't seem to find any reference on the web that marries the two up.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Cheers

Isn't Cluster used in XXXX?

Pardon the pommy ignorance...!

I'm making a Brown Ale, so I'm guessing that I shouldn't use the Gold Cluster hops that this Turkey sold me. Is there another hop that I can use in place of Goldings?.

Thank you.

Come around and grab some. I've been feeling guilty ever since you brought 'round the 6-pack. How much do you need?
