Glass Carboy Tap - Green Oxide

Hi folks,

I was cleaning my glass carboy, which as a brass tap, with bleach. I however left the bleach in there for too long and the brass tap has gone a green oxide color.

Does anyone know how i can remove the green oxide?

Would using a vinegar/salt solution work?

I have not seen a glass carboy with a tap before, do you have a picture?
