To judge the clarity and colour of dark beers, you hold a torch to the glass.

Or hold the sample glass up to a bright light source and tilt the sample so that you are looking through a smaller cross section.

Another method is to grab another sample glass and dilute 50:50 beer and water.

I will give you a quick rundown of my wifes handbag.

• Purse - Crammed so full of receipts and other crap that I dare not open it.
• Sunglasses
• A single sunglasses lense
• About 30 Scrunchies
• 3 bibs (1 Clean)
• A sh%# load of small coins.
• A half eaten kids fruit bar (End folded neatly over for later use)
• A half handful of old dusty raisins (At the bottom)
• A Lolly
• A museli bar
• A torn open box of Hair clips.
• About a telephone book of loose Reciepts.
• Another ones of brochures etc
• Three nappies
• A Teaspoon
• Tampons
• A Pack of tissue
• A few scrutched up tissues
• Keys
• A Roll of sticky tape.
• Foundation
• Eyeliner pencil
• Address book

Those things are like a Tardis. Actually Im quite surprised. Its relatively empty at the moment. Mind you we did have a skip out the front of the house last week so maybe she has just emptied it.
