Hey everyone,
New to homebrew and just did a ginger beer recipe but getting a real wine taste and smell after fermentation
1kg Budrim Ginger Beer Kit
1kg Dextrose
700g ginger
375ml honey
1 x chilli
2 x lemons
Cinnamon stick
Boiled and let cool to 24° OG 1034
Added yeast and nutrient from the kit and was sitting in a tub of water and had temps of 25-26° airlock stopped after 2 days tested FG 1000
There is a strong wine smell and taste
It is now day 8 and it doesn't look to be going away.
Have a done something wrong to make it turn out this way?
What can I do to fix this? Or dump
