Hi all,
Discovered yesterday that I've been a member here for a while so I decided I should start to join in the conversation and learn a few things. I live in Leinster in the Goldfields of WA and mainly brew whatever is available at the supermarket in town(usually just Coopers lager or draught because there isn't much). Looking to start doing some postal orders and doing more specialist beers once I get a grip on temperature control as its hitting 40+ out here daily at the moment.
Anyway, I look forward to what information I can gain through likeminded folks
Regards
Scott

Hi Scott,
Welcome aboard. A second hand fridge is probably best for those temps! Too hot for a saison…
Cheers

Yeah I'm keeping an eye out for an old fridge and a thermostat to try and keep things under control. Last brew I did, even with a wet towel and a fan, sat about 32 degrees for the entire process and was ready to bottle in 4 or 5 days!

Try a sink/bathtub and freezing some 2L softdrink bottles. Fill the sink/bath with water and rotate the softdrink bottles every morning & night or however often until you get the temp down around 20 degrees. 32 degrees = way too hot. Ideally, get a fridge :)

Grab an stc 1000 off ebay to help with controlling the fridge temp.you will need to able to do some wiring in order to use it though
