they should be fine - especially for a gas fired kettle..

probably a bit big for teh Mash Tun and HLT.

Looking at the 18g kegs I bought, the only possible prob is that the bottom of the keg isn't flat.

There is a raised section running down the centre of the base dividing it effectively into 2 shallow pools.

Would that affect heat transfer of the boil? Probably not enough to worry about?
