Selling my mostly electric 3v RIMS with gas fired kettle brewing system.

Am moving around the next few years for work, and this takes up too much space. Will downsize to a single vessel electric system (keen on a BM, but may look at a Brewzilla/Guten depending on finances the next little while.

Would prefer to sell as a job lot, but if not takers then will consider splitting up.

The largest batch I've made is 80L of 1050 wort. The HLT is only used for sparge water, and the MLT is filling from the hot water service and brought to temp with the RIMS.

HLT:
50L converted keg, with ceramic paint.
Keg king 2200W element to heat (has been going strong for about 7 years now)
Thermowell
Sight tube with 1L markings
Ball valve
There is a little bit of rust around some of the SS plugs that I had welded in to plug a few holes, but doesn't affect the functioning.

MLT:
Blichmann 57L mash tun with:
- Heavy duty SS false bottom
- Autosparge arm (is the old brass version but works a treat)
- Blichmann 3 piece ball valve with pickup tube
- Blichmann dial thermometer
- Copper spiral sparge arm for use when doing smaller mashes to ensure even heat distribution (don't need it for big mashes)
The lid has a dent in it, and there are a few superficial marks on the vessel, but nothing that affects its performance.
I had designs on turning it into a single vessel electric brewery, but don't really have the time
New these bad boys will cost you well over $750 with all the trimmings

RIMS Tube:
Keg king SS RIMS tube
- Another 2200w element to heat it (again hasn't skipped a beat in the many years of service it has given me)
- Has a thermowell for a temp controller and cam lock fittings
- Again, new will cost around $200 (fittings and element not included)

Kettle:
SS Brewtech 114L brew kettle (the newest addition, only about 2 years old)
- 3 piece SS ball valve with pickup tube
- Multiple holes (with weldless plugs) for recirculation/extra plumbing
- Lid has a dent, and there is a small dent on the external surface (which were both there on delivery)
- Graduated internal volume markings (which are accurate)
Will cost around $500 new

Mongolian Jet Burner:
23 jet burner which will easily boil 90L+ of wort running at about 30%
Comes with stand and regulator
Stand has a bit of superficial rust and the burner looks well used, but works a treat

Other Items:
- Keg king temp controller for RIMS tube with temp probe that fits in RIMS tube
- Magnetic drive pump with camlock fittings and 3 piece ball valve (I haven't taken this valve off and cleaned it, as the previous owner cross-threaded the nylon head threads and once I got the valve on I wasn't game to take it off. The head gets taken off and soaked in sodium perc after every brew so all attached bits should be pretty clean). You can probably upgrade to a SS head available from KK/KL (which should fit this pump).
- Multiple camlock fittings to connect pump/autosparge/HLT
- A few lengths of silicone hose
- Plug for elements

The kettle and MLT ball valves were dismantled and cleaned today. All the of fittings have been removed and cleaned also today (I've reassembled the RIMS tube, but all other fittings will need new plumbers tape and a good tighten). The only exception is pump valves as described above.

I've attached pictures over a couple of posts as can only upload 10 pictures per post.

Price:
New, all this will cost you probably close to $2000 (from a quick add up) - the MLT and kettle would set you back around $1300 on their own.

Happy to let it go for $900 (ONO)

Location: Geelong, Victoria

Again, would prefer to sell as a job lot, but if no interest will split it up.

Happy to answer any questions.

Please PM if interested

Forgot to add the copper spiral sparge arm pictures.

I only use this for small (single batch) mashes. Just hangs from the edge of the MLT with a couple of Ss hooks.

Price drop to $800.

If no takers will likely split it up.

Final price drop.

$650 for the lot.

This is less than I wanted to sell it for, but keen to move it before I have to pack up my house.

JD

Yep, just want to move it on.

If there's bits you're keen on keep an eye out as if there is no interest will split it up.

JD
