A question for the gurus......

Just popped the cap of a bottle of Forester Amber Ale. It's made in Tassie by the Two Metre Tall Company (www.wmt.com.au),it's bottle conditioned and rather lovely.

It's made of Vienna malt 45%, Pale malt 45%, Crystal Malt 10%, whole hop flowers, POR 73%, Hallertau 27%, yeast etc.

How would one use various kit malts to replicate this really fine beer?

Honestly I think you will struggle with the Vienna flavour.

You will stil make a really nice kit with a neutal can, LDME, steep 450 grams (based on the recipe) of Crystal and the tasty hops :party:
