Hi all
After congratulating myself that nothing went wrong with my brew day and thinking that was so easy, until I came to pitching the yeast and then it hit me as I looked up to see the KoppaFloc still sitting there DOH  My brew was a nice APA I have always used KoppaFloc in the past when when called for in the brew, so my question is, dose it matter? is my normally clear APA going to be more like cloudy weizen? any feed back would be great.

Cheers Jeff

Many, many people brew without kettle finings and are able to achieve clarity. I guess you'll just have to wait and see.

Unless you're selling the stuff or entering competitions... my opinion is looks ain't worth a pinch of excrement!

Yeah I think your right Adamt it will still taste the same maybe just a bit hazy have to leave it in the keg a bit longer

Cheers

if it worries you that much, get a frosted glass to drink from.

it bothers me.

I've never used kettle fining, and never had clarity issues.

Your not a true brewer until you forget the Koppafloc....and have a March Pump

I still forget it on occasions, seems to make little difference really.

just forgot the bloody floc !

i blame the one 60 min hop addition, add the hops and walk away for an hour.....
