First all grain mash this weekend!

Just thought it would get soft and fall to bits with the heat.Maybe mash temps are not too hot for it.Must be ok if he's been using it.

Good question. Standard PVC has a tolerance of -25c to 70c before the polymers start being affected.

Apparently it's CPVC, higher temperature and food safe at mashing temps
