Glad to hear it went well. I'm moving to a BIAB AG batch soon and am hoping for as good a result :)
oops sorry lodan i forgot to list the recipe.
total bill:
20ltr batch.(2 x 10 ltr batches in a 20 ltr pot (thanks nick dj for thr tutoring)
70c strike temp
60min mash
60 min boil
4kg barret burston ale malt
200g carapils
200g munich
300g wheat
27g por 60 min
10g halletau flame out
chilled in laundry tub
us05 yeast 13 days,
cc 3 days
filtered, kegged and carbed and half drunk :chug:
simple recipe but delicious sorta pilsner/ wheat /beer style. nice amber colour.
very easy to drink.
ok.. i admit it, i was lazy and didn't write it down but pretty sure this is it.
i split the above ingredients into 2 x 10 ltr batches .
just hope i can replicate it.
