Hi Guys,

Picked up a can of Coppers Bavarian along with some Saaz last night.

20gm's of Saaz for 40mins
20gm's @ flameout.

Brewed to 23lt's using Saflager a BE1 along with 250gm's of LDME.

OG was 1052,just wondering if it'll be "too" hoppy? As this will be the first time I've really added hops to any of my brews. (Nub)

Was kind of hoping to get something along the lines of Stella or any off those regional Lagers/Pilsners.

Anybody tried the Bavarian with extra hops?

Also got them to order in a ESB 3kg Hoegaarden clone kit, thoughts?

Happy drinkin'

My staple brew for friends etc is Coopers Euro Larger (I think this is the new coopers Bavarian?) with BE2 and dry hop 10gms of Hallertau + using Saflarger S23 and for my taste this is spot on out of the keg. I have notice a couple of times after 4 weeks in the keg the effects of the hops can reduce and becomes less fruity, but still easily the best kit combo I have comeaccross.

Next time maybe keep everything else the same and try different hops or qty's or methods (dry vs boil) and see how you go.
