I used this honey to make a couple of 5L batches of mead. My first ever attempt.
OG were 1.090 and 1.062. Fermented with Wyeast 4184 Sweet Mead.
Both fermented very clean. The sweet version was my favourite. I entered it in the 2014 NSW / Castle Hill Homebrew Comp and it placed 1st. Sent it to AABC where it placed 3rd and received a 45/50 from Michael Fairbrother of Moonlight Meadery!
