Another option for gas is a CO2 fire extinguisher - do a search for "fire extinguisher" and you should get some hits, there have been a couple of decent threads with a fair bit of info in them.

thanks, ive contacted a local member and i think i might be able to work something out with him...

Still trying to work out the font though, i really wanted a flooded single font however GMK has told me is doesnt get them

Kep your eye on Ebay then. Seach "beer font" ... they come up every now and then... but you might have to be willing to stretch the wallet a bit more... but good investment... and the cool factor is much higher :p

Dave - You mentioned that the beer isn't for you and that turnover may be low. I just spoke to the Lion Nathan helpline and they said that kegs have a six month best before date from when they are "packaged". They also advised that this is if the keg is stored correctly.

Of course the commercial beer is filtered before packaging so the beer is freshest when it leaves the brewery. A lot of homebrew styles improve with age and therefore may be a better option.

Rukh.

PS. I've done my good deed for today (by promoting the HB cause), now its time to play up!
