The step down in voltage would be my only concern. I wouldn't like the thought of a transformer running 24/7. Maybe a good quality one but that could get exxy.

There would be 2 stainless coils inside that temprite. May contain a few kilos of refrigerant also.
The coils are often used in jockey boxes
