Lochem, I would be looking at stainless at that price. Might need to pay a little more, but worth it to get something more durable and easier to clean. The pot is also very wide and not high which means it will lose a lot of heat.

This one is cheaper and stainless steel...........
actually buddy that one will cost >$200 AUD after currency conversion and postage from US. i bought a 100 L kettle with all fittings once from them, and with shipping it only came to around $185 AUD. plus they threw in a 1/2" drill head too. works a charm. but that was half a year ago on ebay; they must've been doin a promo bec the prices are higher now.

cheers, i'll keep my eyes out for the dimensions, although i dont mind getting aluminium as its really just for an HLT and nothing more.

I'd sacrifice 10L and go with the craftbrewer 70L stainless pot for the same price

or if you can squeeze the $ and want to go to 100L

good option, thanks.

That's pretty pricey for a no-name aluminium pot. If you want to go aluminium - which I have used and had zero issue with - get a Robinox for less than $10 extra. You know the construction and alloy are good and they last a lifetime.

also a good option...cheers Mardoo

Saw these guys in a gumtree ad:

Campbelfield, Vic..
Not sure of prices as all the second hand goods say "call for price"
But they appear to have heaps of used display fridges, freezers, and more.

Canberra locals. Looks like the Belgian beer bar is selling it's wares Allbids.com.au search beer and you'll find a lot of glasses and a few lots of Belgian beers
