tap,locks have been around for ages

yes why wouldn't you take the tap off rinse it and put it in the fridge

because not all taps adapter have a seal that closes off the beer line, thus things/bugs etc can crawl in. and its a PITA if you dont have snap locks.

although what makes more sense is to buy a cheap latch and padlock and lock your fridge/freezer after disconnecting the beer lines from the keg. done.

It says "Only the cost of a few pours". @ $34.95 + $8.80 for postage it actually equates to about 87.5 pours.

Dunno about you but it doesn't cost me $15 a pint at home.
