I didn't take these (as I'm 1600kms away) but I thought I would share some photos that a winery I worked at this year put up on the web at 8am this morning. Location BrokenWood Wines, Pokolin, NSW (Hunter Valley - 2hrs Nth Syd)

those pics Poc put up are what out place was like thismorning.

Its celaring up now but bloody windy and still dusty.

I took a few pics before i left for work and will post em up tonight

The lories are confused about what time of day it is and are queuing two hours early for their feed !

melb 2006 bushfires. cbd was choked in smoke.
impressive pics. go godzilla. although mothra might be on its way
 
Wish I'd got pics from work, the harbour was eerie....

And go all the door on the north/west side of the casino being autodoors, the leaves opened the doors, the dust took over, at least we got to have bottles of water on the tables for us.
 
Sorry no photo but even in Townsville the sun was just a greyish white circle in the sky at 5;30pm instead of its usaul 'dont look at me brilliance'
Hope it goes back to normal soon.
