Hey Fella's,

I'm going to rack into my secondary tonight after a 10 day primary ferment (22L), and I want to do some dry hopping to get as close a possible to LCPA.

Now..... I have taken the guess and will use:

15g Chinook (I think that's how you spell it) Hops
15g Cascade Hops

Is this enough? Is the Ratio right (ie chinook to cascade)?

Is it best to throw these pellets straight in, or boil them in 500ml of water, or maybe even find a way to "teabag" them?

All comments welcome :D

G'day Barney,

I am currently drinking an LCPA clone I made a few months ago and I'm pretty happy with it. I dry hopped straight into the fermenter (no tea bag) 30g of Cascade. You could try some Chinook as well, but my understanding is that it is more of a bittering than an aroma hop. 30g of Cascade has given me a really pleasant hop aroma but by no means over the top. Might even use 40g next time...

Good luck,

Shawn.
