Ive been given a 60L drum that I was planning to use as a fermenter for double batches. It is a blue drum that uses a clamp ring to hold down the lid.
Problem is, it previously contained liquid soap and smells of the perfume.
Can someone offer a sugestion how the smell can be removed and if it will still be OK to use as a fermenter?
