i have been slowly getting gear together and have just scored a fridge. i plan to put a tap in the front and run the gas line through the side of the fridge was just wondering on any way i should go about this??it is an upright fridge if that helps

cheers ant that was very helpful was just wondering about drilling the gas line hole no advice on it there??
 
you dont need to know much, grab a drill and drill bit and start drilling, praying you dont hit any wires on the way through. dont worry thousands of like mided homebrewers have said the same prayer before you.
 
Some great advice I got from Ross:

Drill from the inside. Cut away a suitable amount of plastic, and insulation first. On mine, after I did that, I had a suitable sized section of bare metal where I knew there were no gas lines... Once you've done that, drill away!
