Just put down a tripel, thought I'd give it a good aerating. Walked off, forgot about the stone. Came back 10min later to this

lol.. Well I lost about 3L it looks like.. kinda sucks when it was only a 15L batch <_<. Oh well. Lotsa things went wrong, came out way under gravity too.
 
Were you aerating with pure O2 ? That's a truckload and then some of foam, especially if twas only a 15L batch :eek:
 
nah just an air pump. apparenly impossible to overdo.

Question: When you put the stone in do you leave it in for 10 mins and then put the yeast or can you aerate after putting yeast.

Never used a air stone before but will next time so this pic serves as a good warning. Thanks for that. Hope it works out for you.
