Its mashing at the moment so I can change the hops if they are not suited
 
Looks pretty nice Mantis.
You probably get away with a bit more Chocolate malt, add a bit of extra colour and flavour.
Personally i'd go for at least the 30IBU mark to balance out the body a bit.
Should be nice with the late Cascade though! :icon_cheers:

I can up the NB at 45min to 25g and that will bring it up to 30IBU
 
Wow, its quite dark mantis. Channelinga American Brown over being a Amber ale.

Either way the recipe looks good. I'd go straight choc malt over the roast barley. thats just a personal choice. I agree with muggus to up the IBU, i'd be shooting for 30-35.

Just got it up to boil and it does look pretty dark and smells gooooood. :)

Looks the goods, but I would have added some more Cascade at flame out.
Maybe you could dry hop with about 15 grams once you're about 4 or 5 days into your ferment?
I agree with additional Choc rather than Roast Barley.
I know it's too late, but it should be tasty in any event.
