The snap taps I have are mostly green coloured with bits of yellow. I bought mine at my local HB shop.
They do fit the bottling wands, although the fit on mine is little tighter than on the standars taps. You need to be careful to make sure they are fitted properly when bottling. It's not a lot of fun when the wand comes loose.
Thanks Warra, knew if I waited long enough somebody would answer my question :)

I have been taking the taps apart each time I clean and sterilise and then air dry before putting them back on.
The only issue I have found is that the tap seems ot loosen after a while, so I am going to continue cleaning and sterilising after every brew, but probably replace after every 5 or so uses as they can also get some gunk in around the collar that you just can't get out.

Thankyou so much everyone.
After reading all of those posts I'm going to:
1. Buy a "pull apart" tap or two.
2. Use the pull apart technique fantasticially documented in http://www.aussiehomebrewer.com/forum/inde...showtopic=10484 for my existing 180 degree turn taps.
3. Clean every tap after every use.
4. Buy a jar of vaseoline as a lube, and only use this for my taps.

Reading of your experiences, and your trials and errors is so satifying.
I get a warm a fuzzy feeling everytime I come here.

Thankyou brewing brothers.
