Hi all,
I need help with the amount of water i need to dilute my home brew. As i have a 19 liter pot which i use to mash and boil with i am limited to the volume i can make. As i only want to brew small batches i have a 15 liter fermenter and looking at around 13 to 14 liter 1.044 to 1.048 batches after dilution. As i no chill and have a 10 liter container for this. By doing this i need to dilute with 3 liters. Is this okay. What effect will this have on the hops

It is ok, most commercial FWKs require a dilution.
For 13 litres at 1.046 you need to dilute 10 litres from 1.060
C1V1=C2V2 or just use
This Calculator from brewers friend
