Malt Shovel Brewery come's up with a limited edition/seasonal range of beers and the now discontinued Mad Brewer's Scribbly Gum Lager, apparently a 'Smoked Beer' type of Lager has a yeast sediment remaining after decantling.
Has anyone tried to re-culture the yeast and what has been the result, Dan Murphy's currently have this beer on special and it's a couple of $$ cheaper than the regular price.
While it's a quirky type of beer I'm hoping that a yeast culture will be viable so I can try something different, but I don't want to go to the trouble of culturing the yeast up and running it through a beer only to find that i've @#$%@ things up.
