Funny you should mention a BIAB frame as I'm planning on building a Shermanator Jr for Bribies BIAB exploits. Bribie and I are just fine tuning the design now so hopefully in the next few weeks we might have something to show you'se all?

Still :icon_offtopic: but I am very keen to see how the frame idea turns out - there are always improvements that can be made!

Personally I have thought that something akin to the original BIAB 'basket' idea would be a great way to go, covered with a bag so you can stir the mash and sparge the grain more easily....

No not intentionally Sully, I'm sorry mate, I just got inspired the other day when I musing about my next brewing project and thought that my other good mate (your still #1 ) Bribie (you know the one who gives me beer that you get to consume, WTF is that about FFS?) could really do with a brew rig to do his evil Devils work on. Plus Bribie might make more beer that may make it actually thru to me (I live in hope!). :lol:

I only shot you down because you know we don't mention the "BIAB" word in my brewery Sully. <_< Damn heretics are taking over! Beside Shermie gets all thingo as soon as the word is uttered.

No but seriously though, you don't need to go BIAB Sully, you have a 36lt esk Tun and a 50lt converted Keggle Tun and a damn awesome HERMS single tier system. The only reason I shot you down is because how many friggin tuns and bits of brewing bling do you need? Your system can do singles, double and triples FFS without having to go to Boiling your grains for experimentals. Anyway since when have you or anyone been silly enough to listened to me?

You've probably already got one of the cursed bags sitting in the shed somewhere, haven't you!
