Hi all,

My coopers euro lager has been in the fermenter for almost a month, still bubbling every 30 secs or so, would it be ready yet?

Hydro at about 1008.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Post up your recipe, reading sounds nice and low so should be fine.

So it's the kit plus kilo of basic sugar plus kit yeast and nothing else? Made up to 20-23 litres?

1008 should be fine if that's the case. Different ingredients will make a difference as will different volumes. If there's no dry enzyme in there, then 1008 is a good finish for a basic kit brew.

I used brew enhancer 2

even tho still bubbling you reckon secondary ferment time in the bottle?

Bubbling might just be CO2 coming out of solution.

Is the gravity stable or is it dropping?

Is the SG in the region you would expect given ferment temps, ingredients, yeast type, pitching amount and management?

Is your hydrometer accurate?
