Gday all

made a batch of coopers canadian blonde with 1kg of BE2 and tin of tooheys liquid brewing sugar last night..23 litres...22 degrees....havnt heard it bubble yet....i know sometimes they dont and other times they bubble like mad....just hoping its doing its job unless the yeast has a bit of work to do??

Did you take an gravity reading originally?
Is there any sign of fermentation on top of the brew (dont open the lid btw)?

nah i didnt...never do normally....i can see a creamy foam slightly which is a sign or fermenting

Next time swap the kilo of tooheys brewing sugar for 500g Light Dried Malt. It'll pump up the alc for you, but add more body & flavour. (where the sugar will just add alcohol).
