Hi All,

I'm a bit of a noob, so please bear with me.

I've made my first home brew under temperature control conditions (fridgemate). It is a Coopers Bavarian Lager. Temp - 20 degrees.

OG (9 Feb) - 1039
FG (17 Feb) - 1010
FG (20 Feb) - 1010

Is it okay to bottle? Or should I leave/stir/shake/add more yeast & stir/shake?

Cheers,
Billy

Billy,

You have 3 choices IMHO:

1. Bottle now as fermentation appears to finished eg same FG for a few days; or

2. Rack 2 secondary fermenter and cold condition in the fridge @ below 5 Deg Celsius for as long as you can, at least 2 to 3 weeks minimum.

Either way I would recommend getting it off the trub and out of the primary.

Bottle it. You wont get much lower than that.

Im pretty sure the bavarian lager uses a proper lager yeast. Next time try brewing around 10-12C
