How do you guys convert partial mashed to full mashes, ie subtracting LME for grain.

I thought you would make up the extract with some pale malt and maybe add some crystal malt for body?

I want to do the grumpys excelsior i see jayse has a clone but his recipe doesnt make sense, he had 2.25 kg pale malt and 1kg pale?

As a rough guide

1kg of grain = 700gm of LME or 500gm of DME
