Hhehe the chatroom should be working fine - however I think therook was asking more why doesn;t anyone go in there.
To be honest therook it isn;t the best implementation of online chat - it's quite difficult to share the forum database with the chat database (ie. you can only chat if you are a logged in memeber)
I think the whole idea of a web-based chat system just doesn't really work - atleast I am yet to see a solution that reall works. The one on the website was a bit of a test.
There are a number of web to irc applets and solutions which work quite well and can be implemented into the database without too much hassle (I think
)
Maybe if I get some time I will look at setting it up. Although I am on IRC quite alot - I don;t know much about IRC setup/bots/channel security etc, so i will have to look into that.
But if we want to get an IRC channel together I'm all for it :chug:
