with my first ag brew i discovered a wee problem in my monitoring precedures
brew day went well.....ag wit double batch ie 45 litres
1050 OG reading spot on
left to ferment
wondered why it took 3 weeks to ferment??????
bottled
conditioned 3 weeks in fridge
sampled and it was great!!
i tallie (750ml) later and a very smug homebrewer was feeling decidely pissed
thats odd i think only 1 tallie and i am really smashed
i think back.......mmmm 3 weeks fermenting......mmmmm does taste like it is high alcohol.......
I took the OG reading out of mash tun at about 65 degrees and didnt correct it
real OG about 1070
no wonder it took 3 weeks to ferment
still a decidely tasty drop tho
