Was reconing that if after the steel bottom lip was totally trimmed off, it could then be fitted with a rubber or plastic.bottom. (Glued on)

Are these bottoms available to buy?

Also does anybody know where to purchase a replacement lid for these kegs?

Yes I was amazed myself at the resurrection. I don't think the second hand corny lid you posted will fit the schweppes kegs Batz. I know I have squeezed the o-rings on and they were ok. The schweppes lids are a different shape and have the blow off valve on the keg not the lid, the shape is a pain in the arse actually, heaps harder to get out than the corny ones but the 23L size makes up for it.

Recently, My brew consortium has came to be in the posession of four kegs,two are Schweppes style kegs but are only 18litres cap, one corny style keg that has the posts at about 120(> from each other ond the other keg is the same style as the corny mentioned here but is about an inch shorter, and the only markings on it are on the rubber bottom, (Sanyo Vending Machine Company).
All the kegs are in good condition, the cornie style kegs will get the lids replaced from my LHBS (as per Batz link)as well as the poppet seals.
The Schweppes style kegs are also in good nick but will need all seals replaced and am searching for one lid as there is rust on it that is beyond salvation.

We also have three other cornys and two 23 litre Schweppes kegs in working order, but would really like to find a replacement lid for the little schweppes keg.

The big kegs have the same drama as Henno's did, hence the question about a new butt for 'em.
