What pressure and at what temp?

Unless you're using the Ross method overnight is too short a time frame, and if using the Ross method then it's way too long.....

edit: I'm assuming that your kegs are gas tight.

If you gas them up at serving temperature, don't expect anything much to happen for about 3 days. I do mine at around 60 kpa whatever that is in PSI.

43 psi
or
300 kpa
24 hrs

turn gas off for a few hours...purge keg afew times ...turn gas up real slow to pouring pressure.

start hoofing into it.

works for me. :beerbang:

Not happy with brew :icon_vomit: the keg kit arrived later than expected and brew sat round too long going to put the lot through my still and start again. least it wont go to waste that way

Did the 24hr gas up and :icon_chickcheers: pouring ok at 40psi should be set at 20 psi ??

OK, I should probably also try and help.

40 psi seems pretty high as a pouring pressure, even 20 psi is too much I reckon. I generally use ~8 psi for pouring.

Are you sure it's not 40 kPa you've got it set at?

He may be confusing his PSI with his KPA. 40 KPA isn't too bad, I often go that with my UK bitters etc.

My apologies for my poor grammar and punctuation. I wound the pressure back and its all working well. Thankyou all :icon_cheers:
