Broken Hydrometer, Start Of A Brewday On Sunday

Had all my gear layed out on the floor and was picking a few things up to use and i hear a crack. Look down and my hydrometer is well and truly smashed to pieces.
Can't go out to get a new one as its a sunday and no one is open. After breaking 4 in about a year and a half i might have to start buying in bulk or go plastic.. Oh well, always next week.
