For all you guys out there using BrewMate, what figure are you using for Actual volume in kettle (L)
My recipe called for 23lt batch & I added my actual reading like this.
Actual volume in kettle (L) 20.5lt in cube
Actual Original Gravity 1.056
Actual Brewhouse efficiency was 76%, this takes into account that I get 2.5lt loss to trub & chiller so spot on, 23lt total.
If I add 23lt into Actual volume in kettle (L) ignoring my 2.5lt loss to trub & chiller.
Actual Original Gravity 1.056
Actual Brewhouse Efficiency 85%
Which is the correct way?
