Hey all.

I have been looking at the different types of brewing software available out there and have come across two main ones; Beersmith and Pro Mash. They are both from the US. Is ther any available in Australia?

What does everyone else use?

Hints or advice?

You can buy them both online so it doesn't really matter where they are from. Those two are the most popular and have had many threads about them. Try a search.

Yes, they're both from the US, but they both have options for metric units, and plenty of guys use each of them.

You can download trials of each of them - give them a go and make your own choice.

FWIW, I use beersmith - I like the interface better.

If I were you I would download the free trial version of both and see which one you prefer. I personally found beersmith to be more intuitive but thats just me.

Don't know of any Aussie software but I do know Beersmith has all the Joe White malts on their web page that you can load into the databank. Not sure but Promash probably has something similar and of course metric units can be set as the default. So being American isn't really an issue :)

Dave.

Sorry, I'll try typing faster next time

Promash also has the aussie malts that you can add to it..
