While trawling through Alibaba came across coloured band recognition for bottles, didn't want 10,000 so looked on OfficeWorks and found these, I have been using round coloured stickers on the caps but this is so simple and reusable.

Isn't it easier to just write on the cap? A few dollars on a sharpie is all you'd need. 2-3 letters to indicate the beer type (SPA for Smurto's Pale Ale, for example) and the bottle date.

65 bottles 195 letters (SPA) 65 dates, slip over 1 band, log it, job done. I would buy the bands off Alibaba but would never use them as I cask a lot of beer.

Yeah that's fair enough. I don't bottle much. I'm still counting from number 1 first beer. Up to 166 now. Can always write 3 digits on a lid.. White marker for black PET lids otherwise standard marker pen.

But for 65 bottles? bugger that....
