hi all ...

does anyone know where i could buy a bottling bucket in melbourne?
or failing that, where i could get the pieces to build one?
haven't seen them on the usual websites.
i assume it would be pretty easy ....

thanks!

Another 23 litre fermenter would serve an identical purpose I'm sure. ;)

thanks warren, thats a good idea.

only issue is my batch size; i'm brewing 5L batches due to serious brewing space issues. kinda lame, but i'd love a bucket that would not have much space below the spigot out so i didn't lose much in dead-space. currently siphoning using a bottler & carbonation drops ....

How about getting a bucket (9litre) from Bunnings or Mitre 10 and a fermentor tap.

Drill a hole in the base of the bucket and fit tap.

The only problem would be that you would have to build bucket up off the ground with a couple of bricks to access tap.
This way you would have no wastage.

Just a thought
Reg

hmmm .... that ain't a bad idea, reg .... cheers
