G'day Brewers,

I've got an English IPA extract brew planned for tomorrow and will be using a lovely fresh pack of Boadicea hop pellets for flavour and aroma. Here's what I have penciled in for them,

27 litres
OG 1.060
1028 @ 19 degrees C

30g @ 20mins
30g @ 5 mins
30g dry hopped around day 5

Has anyone had any experience with the hop or recommend an alternate schedule?
What can I expect from them?

I'm keen to put them to the test and wanted to help them shine.

I'll be bittering with my English hop left-overs,

15g Northern Brewer @ 60mins
40g EKG @ 60mins
20g Fuggles @ 60mins

Expecting around 55 IBU all up.

Cheers,
Boagsy

I'm using them for the first time myself this weekend (Ihope?)

Except I'll be making an EPA with all MO Boadicea to about 30 IBU and Ringwood yeast.

Adnams use it in their East Green Carbon neutral beer, Craftbrewer list them as having light floral aroma's with a hint of citrus.

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out,

cheers,
BB

I've got high expectations of this this brew.
Fermentation is starting to subside and the floral aroma is something else.
Did you get yours in BB?
I reckon this one will be surely going into the recipeDB after a conditioned tasting.

How did these turn out gents? I am planning a single hopped boadicea brew for this weekend.
