Group,

Looking to invest in software wo aid my brewing day, much as I layawake at night doing the maths it would be nice to have a little technical backup.

Could I ask you to share your views on your beer software, value vs performance etc.

Bear in mind I am not doing much more than an AG brew per fortnight in 27l batches.

many Thanks in advance

TC

Easy mate,

ProMash and Beersmith

Google them. They don't cost much (under $30).

They give you a month trial, so get them both and find out which one works for you best...

I like beersmith.

An open source option is BeerBlogger (google it). You need to be able to set up you own MySQL / PHP system though....

Beertools is a nice program. They have a mac version and pc version. Very easy to use.

I got a Mac running BeerAlchemy. Excellent piece of software about $30 off web.

I use qbrew on my linux system, but its a little limited (had to write some python scripts to do things like strike volume and temperature calculations and there are no water chemistry calculations)

I get a lot of beer blogs and can't really find the software your referring to. Sorry to be lazy, but can you find us a direct link please sumo?
