Hello,

We're a small beerclub from Belgium. Each month we taste some (belgian) beers we have never tasted before.

So a month ago we went to the Zythos beerfestival in Sint-Niklaas (Belgium).

56 little breweries were present and 260 belgian beers could be tasted... Some of the beers we tasted....Bosprotter, Alvinne Melchior, Cookie Beer...

We prefer beer from little breweries because the impact of INBEV in Belgium has become to big...higher prices, less quality...

Anyway, you can find a report of this event on our website www.clubsjarel.com and ofcourse you can always take a look at our updated beerlist.

Greets and cheers,

CSi Belgium - www.clubsjarel.com

Hello, thanks for your post. You are most welcome here. You are very lucky to have 56 little breweries and consequently new beers to taste regularly. Like INBEV, the 2 major brewries in Aus are trying to buy out the successful (read increasing market share) little breweries and control their market share. That said, there are still new small breweries opening here, which we gladly support.

If any of your members get the chance to visit our country, Im sure we could either meet up or at least point you in the right direction for some local quality brews.

cheers
