What do call beer with out Hops :party: :party:


I might get shot down here Markus :( But I thought that any unhopped beer in the 1500/1700's throughout Britain was known as Ale. The foreign stuff (from Barvaria etc ) that contained hops, was collectively known as beer. All of this of course changed once hops became accepted throughout Britain.
